Matt Nusbaum, Director of Biddle Consulting’s BCG Institute, provides consulting advice on workplace compliance requirements to federal contractor employers regarding the nondiscrimination and affirmative action requirements enforced by the OFCCP of the U.S. Department of Labor. Matt has more than nine years of experience as a practicing attorney counseling and representing employers on matters before the OFCCP and other federal, state, and local workplace regulatory and enforcement agencies. Matt is passionate about EEO/AA and strives to bring energy and enthusiasm to the conversation. This does not make him overly popular at cocktail parties, but he cannot be dissuaded. Matt presents to local ILGs throughout the nation.

Boldly create change and expand gender inclusivity in your workplace by helping supportive allies grow into proactive advocates for transgender and non-binary employees. By the end of this session, you will be able to (1) think strategically about asking someone’s pronouns; (2) challenge assumptions, especially in virtual spaces; (4) incorporate affirming language into everyday communications; (5) explore the power in visible leadership support and (6) take responsibility to ensure safe spaces for transgender and non-binary employees.
