Mim Munzel is a senior consultant with The Arbor Consulting Group, Inc. She has supported numerous organizations with affirmative action compliance implementation and audit defense.  She has worked with federal contractors in industries ranging from manufacturing to high-tech to universities to construction companies.  She manages projects and consults with C-suite executives, General Counsel and HR leaders on AA issues, including pay equity and diversity outreach.  She has served as the Diversity Director for the Michigan Council of SHRM (MISHRM) and was co-chair of the Diversity Committee for the Greater Ann Arbor SHRM chapter.  She is a member of the Michigan ILG.

Back from the Brink: Salvaging a Derailed Audit

Due to inaccurate data or HR inexperience or regulation misunderstanding or all of the above, OFCCP audits can go south.  Organizations may face a long, more difficult audit process, lists of violations, a negative press release and discrimination charges. Participants will learn how to: 
• Reestablish credibility with the auditor 
• Understand the importance of accurate data - may need to reanalyze 
• Form accurate job groups 
• Investigate initial charges or claims of indicators
