William Erickson, M.S., is a researcher at the Yang-Tan Institute on Employment and Disability at Cornell University. He has been actively involved with disability research for over 20 years and has extensive disability research experience including employment, employer practices and policies, vocational rehabilitation, disability statistics, secondary data sources, survey design, web accessibility, and youth transition. He is the lead researcher in the production of the Annual Disability Status Report series and has expertise in the area of disability statistics and secondary data related to disability.

The pandemic has led to an array of challenges including high levels of depression and anxiety.  Employers play a critical role in supporting employees navigating mental health challenges. In this panel presentation, attendees will become familiar with national data documenting the extent of mental health impacts on employees; how employers and EAPs address the mental health challenges presented by the pandemic; and online resources to help address workplace mental health issues.
